How To Stamping Metal Parts:
We will introduce the general process of metal stamping production here, because the details need to be determined by drawings and specific requirements. We have an experienced technical team to provide you with more satisfactory solutions and perfect after-sales service to ensure the quality of your products. Kindly contact us for more details.
Get a Deeper Understanding Of Your Requirements:
Our sales manager will lead the purchasing, technical, production, quality inspection, transportation and other personnel to connect with you, and develop a more suitable solution by deeply understanding your requirements. Before that, you can provide the following information to facilitate them to connect with you better.
1. Drawings or samples of Metal Stamping Parts.
2. Quantity.
3. Your other requirements.
Make Molds:
We will choose to use single-pass molds, composite molds or continuous molds to complete the order according to your requirements, budget and other information. Single-pass molds have the lowest cost and are more suitable for parts with simple structures. There is only one stamping slot on a mold to complete one or more processes. It is used to produce parts with complex structures, which requires multiple molds, and the cost will increase accordingly, and the production cycle will also increase.
Composite molds are moderately priced and more suitable for relatively complex parts. There are more than two stamping slots on a mold, and multiple processes of a part can be processed at the same time. The production of a part can be completed quickly.
Continuous molds are the most expensive, the molds are very large, and there are multiple stamping slots on a mold. As the mold opens and closes, the semi-finished product of the previous stamping slot will enter the next stamping slot until the finished product.
Make Samples & Testing:
After selecting and making the mold, we will complete the trial production of samples according to the solution process, test the mold accuracy, sample appearance, tolerance, and performance, etc. We provide free samples for your testing. This ensures the unification of the testing standards of both parties.
Quality Control:
We will formulate strict sampling standards and testing procedures according to the requirements. The quality control center has complete testing equipment such as hardness tester, photometer, salt spray tester, tensile tester, impact tester, to complete the testing of metal stamping parts tolerance, appearance, mechanical properties, and chemical properties.
Production Scheduling:
Once the sample is tested and passed, we will start purchasing raw materials, arranging equipment, employees and other work to ensure the stable progress of the entire order. Reasonable production scheduling can improve the pass rate while completing the order faster and save more costs.
Cutting:
The metal sheet is pre-cut into a specific size before stamping. This is mainly for thicker sheet metal. We use laser cutting for cutting because it is more efficient and can save more material costs and subsequent processing costs.
Blanking:
Using a punch press, the punching die cuts the metal sheet into a specified size or punches out a specific shape at a specific location. There will be cutting marks at the punching location. The thicker the metal sheet, the more obvious the marks. Punching and cutting can replace each other under certain conditions.
Forming:
Forming processes include bending, bulging, spinning, drawing, flanging, shrinking, etc. When we use continuous dies to produce metal stamping parts, we can complete all processes on the same set of dies, so that we can get a finished product in each rise and fall of the punch press. Composite dies have similar capabilities but may require multiple sets of dies to complete a finished product.
Machining:
After some metal stamping parts are completed, they need to be tapped, drilled, polished, etc. to obtain the finished product.
Surface Treatment:
Surface treatment of metal stampings can not only enhance corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, but also make them look better. Aluminum alloy stampings can be anodized to have a beautiful and practical coating, while stainless steel stampings can be brushed, polished, etc. due to the special nature of the material to make them more beautiful. Ordinary steel and iron stampings can be galvanized, electrophoresed or powder coated.
Packaging:
We have integrated packaging factories that can provide customized packaging materials and appearance. They can provide wooden and corrugated packaging boxes. They support packaging appearance printing. They also support the selection of internal fillings, which will give you more autonomy. Appearance customization can enhance your brand awareness.
Delivery:
We have integrated multiple freight companies to develop more suitable freight solutions based on your city, transportation method, delivery terms, delivery cycle, etc. Our team will follow up the cargo transportation status in real time and report to you regularly.
After-sales Service:
We guarantee the quality of each metal stamping part through perfect after-sales service. We have established standards for return, exchange and replenishment, and any quality problems can be properly and satisfactorily solved. You can place your order with us with confidence.
