Customize More Satisfied Solutions:

A mold will only be made when it is determined that your metal base plate can be completed more efficiently and with quality and quantity using the stamping process. The structure of the base plate often requires only one punching process, so only the punching die needs to be made.

Make Molds:

The mold manufacturing workshop will formulate and debug the mold according to the drawings of angle iron connectors. Composite molds can use one punch to complete the bending and punching work. The order production cycle will be shorter, but the mold cost will be higher. A single-pass mold can have more links and a longer lead time, but the mold cost is lower.

Make Samples & Testing:

We will complete the production of samples according to the solution settings. We often make more than 2 samples, which facilitates us to conduct performance testing in multiple aspects. We will send samples for you to test to ensure that the testing standards at both ends are consistent. After the samples pass the test, they will enter the production scheduling process.

Production Scheduling:

We will start raw material procurement, and arrange cutting equipment, punching machines, welding equipment, and corresponding staff to complete your order. Rigorous processes can complete metal base plates efficiently and with high quality. Below we will briefly introduce the process required when producing metal base plate.

Sheet Metal Cutting:

The CNC cutting machine we use can be programmed to cut or process the metal base plate. Our sheet metal cutting workshop can provide cutting services for metal plates below 50mm.

Sheet Metal Stamping:

Stamping is faster and cheaper, but the four holes of most metal base plates are very close to the corners. Therefore, it is only possible to use the punching process to complete the hole processing below a specific thickness. And this decision needs to be made after calculation.

Welding:

Some models of metal base plates require welding of the sheet metal base plate and other components. We need to choose the appropriate welding process such as arc welding, argon arc welding, laser welding, etc. according to its material and mechanical performance requirements. Proper welding processes can improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

Machining:

If you need to tap the metal base plate, then you need the Machining process.

Surface Treatment:

We offer electrophoresis, powder electrostatic spraying, electroplating, hot dip plating, and special treatments for aluminum alloys and stainless steel. We will complete this process according to your requirements and test their various properties.
